Missions

“…Let us love not in word, neither in tongue, but in deed and in truth.”
1 John 3:18

Missions is an important aspect of life here at Baldwin. We strive to make an impact not only in our local community, but in different places around the US and the world. Some of our recent projects are highlighted below. If you find it in your heart to donate your time to one of these projects, or if there is another not listed that you would like to see Baldwin become involved with, please contact the church office. As Jesus said, “It is more blessed to give, than to receive”.

Backpacks — Filled with healthy snacks and food on a weekly basis for local elementary school children in need. Team members meet on Sundays in the Water’s Bible Study/History Room immediately following the 9AM worship service.

Paul’s Place — Paul’s Place is a mission on the west side of Baltimore City.  We have church members who regularly collect and take donations to Paul’s Place and volunteer there on a weekly basis.

Serving People Across Neighborhoods (SPAN) — Our local food bank and resource center located in Severna Park. For over 20 years, SPAN has provided families in need with food and other resources to help get them through difficult times. Baldwin’s pantry is open for donations year- round, and many of our donations have been taken to SPAN.

Mary’s Cradle — A mission located in Bluefield, WV.  Mary’s Cradle serves as a support center for mothers with small children. Those in need can receive clothing, diapers, toys, and information about the care of their little ones.

Mission Trips — Covid-19 has prevented us from having any recent mission trips.

Contact the church office if you would like to join the Mission Task Force.
